About VideosTips
VideosTipsexists because the advice we needed when learning video editing and video conferencing didn't exist — or was buried under software marketing, affiliate-stuffed comparisons, and vague "tips" that never explained why.
Our Story
VideosTips launched in 2026 as an independent publication focused on two overlapping skills: editing video that holds attention, and showing up professionally on camera. Our founders — working editors and remote-work consultants — kept answering the same questions from clients and colleagues: exact export settings, which mic actually works, how to fix bad lighting without buying gear.
Existing resources either promoted specific software or repeated generic advice. "Export at high quality" is not advice. It's a platitude. We built VideosTips to publish the specific, tested answers we wished existed.
Our Mission
We help creators and remote professionals look and sound their best — in a polished final edit or a live video call. Every guide, comparison, and tool aims at one goal: giving you the exact information you need to do something better today.
We are not trying to sell you software or courses. We publish answers written by people who encounter the same problems themselves.
What Makes Us Different
We Actually Test Everything
Every software comparison comes from hands-on use. We install, edit real projects, and note what actually happens — not what marketing says.
No Brand Deals or Sponsorships
We accept no payment from software companies for coverage or placement. Recommendations reflect what works for creators and remote professionals.
Specific Over Vague
If the answer is "export at -14 LUFS for YouTube," we say that. If the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+K, we tell you. Vague advice is useless advice.
Our Team
Our contributors are working professionals. They edit videos, configure conferencing setups, and solve the problems they write about. View full author profiles →
